Specialized criminal law reports and analysis
Preparation of reports, technical notes, and analysis on economic crime, corruption, corporate criminal liability, competition, and gender-based violence.
I support institutions, universities, law firms, and projects through rigorous legal analysis in economic criminal law, corruption, criminal policy, and gender-based violence, connecting research, training, and collaboration between Europe and Latin America.
About me
Ana María Ontaneda Rubio holds a PhD in Law and is a researcher specializing in Economic Criminal Law, corruption, and criminal policy, with a complementary line of work in gender-based violence, femicide, and intersectionality. Her approach combines more than 15 years of experience in criminal litigation, legal team leadership, university teaching, research, and legal advisory in complex criminal matters.
She works from a comparative perspective between Europe and Latin America, with particular attention to criminal policy harmonization, legal interpretation, and strategic decision-making. This perspective has been strengthened through her career across Ecuador, Spain, Italy, and Germany.
